Rghayef Moroccan sweet bread

How To Cook Moroccan Rghayef :

Rghayef is one square shaped like mlawi but stuffed with almonds and Sesame seeds. after frying dipped in honey,so crispy, sweet and delicious.

Ingredient:

500 g.   flour
100 g.Almond roasted and blend
100 g.Sesame seeds
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Anise seeds powder
3 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp. Rose water
1 packet baking powder (7-1/2g)
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg of yolk
1 tsp Cinnamon
Pinch of Saffron/zaffran

Preparation:

Combine all ingredient in a large bowl,add water little by little until smooth dough.
Cover it and let to rest for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough in small balls..Flatten the balls one by one
Use the vegetable oil to spread the balls one by one into a very thin circle.
Fold one side of the dough in the center.Fold the other side to the center too.
now you have longe strip.Bring one end of strip to the center to the center and last end to form a square.
Heat honey set a side.
Heat the oil and press the Rghayef square until it become very thin.fry in hot oil until light golden brown.
drain and dip in warm honey,again drain and put in plate.
Garnish with crushed almond or sesame seeds.Rghayef are ready.
